How do I deposit funds to MyElance Account by wire transfer?

1. Contact your bank for specific information about arranging a wire transfer from your bank directly to Elance and our merchant bank, Bank of America.  In order to get the best exchange rate, notify your bank that the funds are going to a U.S. Dollar account.

2.  Make the transfer payable to Elance, and include your username and Elance Account Number in the reference area. Your Elance Account Number is displayed at the top of your MyElance Account page beginning with the letters ‘EL’ and followed by a string of numbers.

Note to Service Providers: To pay a membership fee, also include the words ‘membership payment’ in your comments.  Failure to do so may result in your funds being allocated to current or future project fees instead.  Once your transfer has been processed, a ‘Set Default Payment’ link will appear next to your Elance Account available balance.  Click on that link to indicate that you wish to use your available balance to pay your membership fees.
