How do I navigate MyElance?
1. Log in to the MyElance Main Menu.
If you are not logged in, enter your Elance username and password.
For buyers, click on the links from the left panel:
MyElance - Buyer landing page which makes it easier to see access tasks, notifications and project information.
Workrooms - All projects you have posted on the Elance site.
Payments - Payments (Standard Invoicing and Escrow) documents for all projects.
My Account - Review all of your membership and financial information, including transaction history, credit cards, bank accounts and scheduled transactions.
Watch List - Review the projects you have shown previous interest in. Add projects to this list by clicking the ‘Watch List’ link on the project description pages.
Referrral Program - The Elance system sends emails to your colleagues, enabling them to become Elance buyers or service providers. If your colleague clicks on the link provided in the email, it will tie back to your Elance account and qualify you for a referral bonus, if he or she meets certain conditions.
Expand the list by clicking the More link:
Draft Projects - Review saved projects before posting.
Profile - Review your buyer profile.
Preferences - Update your registered email address or change your login username, name, phone, password, email notification settings, or W9 and 1099 U.S. tax forms.
For providers, click on the links from the left panel:
MyElance - Provider landing page which makes it easier to see access tasks, notifications and project information.
Workrooms - All jobs you have submitted proposals to and accepted projects listed by their statuses.
My Invites - Invitations from buyers asking you to submit a proposal to their job.
Watch List - Review the projects you have shown previous interest in. Add projects to this list by clicking the ‘Watch List’ link on the project description pages.
Tracker - Link to launch the Tracker used to conveniently log your hours and other job progress.
Billing - Billing (Standard Invoicing and Escrow) documents for all projects.
My Account - Review all of your membership and financial information, including membership status, transaction history, credit cards, bank accounts, scheduled transactions and default membership payment methods.
Expand the list by clicking the More link:
Provider Profile - Review and edit your provider profile
Membership Status - Review and update your current provider membership.
Connect Activity - Review your Connects usage per proposal submitted.
Add Connects - Purchase Connects for the month or to add to your membership plan.
Preferences - Update your registered email address or change your login username, name, phone, password, email notification settings, or W9 and 1099 U.S. tax forms.
Disable/Enable Chat - Turn off/on your Elance Chat presence for the current login session.
Ring Central - Link to sign in to the Ring Central site
